Belize Adventure Quest Kids Summer Camp

July 12th-16th,     July 26th-29th ,     August 9th- 13th


Kids aged  6-13 can enjoy a wonderful summer camp based at our beautiful location on the beach in Hopkins Belize. They will experience  exciting activities on the beach, in the ocean and nearby rainforest when accompanying parents or guardians on  a two, three or five night stay at Jaguar Reef Lodge, Almond Beach or Parrot Cove.(Parents can do their own thing - fish or snorkel the reef, relax at our spa, enjoy a book or nap or leasurely swim - or you can join the kids on some of their adventure activities)!

Our Camp Objectives: are to create a true & lasting appreciation of nature and the beauty & diversity of Belize and our planet on a whole. It is also our wish to share our deep love for Belize- one of earth's most unique & gorgeous destinations. We feel that by inviting you to provide your children with the opportunity to attend the camps, we will inspire your children to treasure and conserve the earth and create a desire to learn about the deep mysteries of Belize.. We want very much to create an atmosphere of learning, fun & excitement for your kids to take home with them and to treasure for years to come. This summer may just change their lives in an unforgettable and meaningful way.

 Our full 5 day program includes :

  • A "resort spotting guide" that identifies local insects, animals and birds found in our location
  • An opportunity to learn about Belize's Jungle Rivers and Mangrove System through discussion and a Boat tour up the Sittee River.
  • Swimming lessons in our protected pool
  • Snorkel lessons off of our resort dock seeing fish, sea stars, conch shells and seagrass
  • Beachcombing to understand what the high water line tells us about our eco system
  • Visit to the Jaguar Preserve & Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary Visitor Centre
  • Hike to a natural waterfall and pool and tube down the river on an inner tube
  • Visit a Medicine Trail and learn about so me of the great uses that the Maya have for some of these plants
  • Learn about Conservation in Belize and what this means for all of us. How to help conserve our planet earth.yoga 1.JPG 
  • Learn about coconuts and how they are used as a drink and make coconut cookies for your break time
  • Meet a local drum maker and learn how to drum!
  • Local folk stories and the culture of Garifuna, Mayan, Creole and Hispanic cultures of Belize
  • Introduction to Yoga
  • Team Building, Arts and Crafts using natural products, Beach games, and Sports Marathon with the village kids in Hopkins
